Safety & quality

Participants' safety is of utmost importance to us and thus a number one priority in all our programs. We are a founding member of the Czech and Slovak Association for Experiential Learning (CSAEL), the leading organization in the field of experiential learning and outdoor education in the region and a professional quality and safety guarantor. Its standards and policies are based on the vast experience of its members and designed in accordance with the guidelines of A.C.C.T. (Association for Challenge Course Technology), A.E.E. (Association for Experiential Education), Project Adventure, Odyssey Teams Inc. and Outward Bound International.

Physical

It is our strict policy to run a thorough risk management program for each activity used in outdoor programs. Our internal reporting and monitoring system of incidents / accidents / injuries is for greater efficiency interconnected with that of CSAEL. The unique construction system of our ropes courses even surpasses the high standards of ACCT. Even though there is no official research data available for the Czech Republic, international experience has it that „outdoor training“ in general is approximately 150× safer than alpine skiing and about 1000× safer than soccer (measured by average number of injuries per hour of activity).

Emotional

With regard to the desired and adequate depth of emotional experience and insight into team dynamics during a program, we always take the time and effort needed to define a clear framework and derive from it an appropriate „code of conduct“ for each program. Based on that, facilitators and lecturers with suitable qualification and experience are delegated to respective programs. On the program, the code gets clarified and agreen upon by the participants and strict compliance by all participants at all times is made a rule, ensuring safe and open atmosphere for every individual to get the most out of the experience.
