Our team
Our dedicated team of facilitators, trainers, consultants and coaches come from diverse backgrounds (e.g. psychology, management, economy, education, sports). Both internal and external staff are regularly trained in areas of program leadership (in- and outdoors), facilitation, social psychology and others. Since 2002, our team has been steadily growing and further stratifying. This enables us to always seek out the best suitable facilitators, consultants, trainers or coaches for the specific needs of our different programs.

Sean Turner
Partner
The founder of Odyssey in the Czech Republic. At the beginning of his career, Sean was involved in personal training, with many top athletes on his client list, including the members of the first „ladies only“ expedition to the South and North Pole. Holder of a degree in sports management, Sean has gone through numerous internships and trainings in the field of management training and development over the years. He is a certified „Team Developer“ from the Institute for Performance Culture (USA) and an ACCT certified Ropes Course instructor. After a one year long involvement with Odyssey Performance Enhancement Network (today's Odyssey Teams Inc.) and participation in global-reach projects with major corporations, Sean decided to bring the concept to the Czech Republic and transform it to fit the local market. In his current role, his main focus is business strategy and development and product innovation. Meanwhile, he has been involved in introducing Holmes Place Health Clubs chain into the CEE market and has become the Head of Sales & Marketing in the region.
Besides business, Sean is all about reggae, passionate surfer, soccer and cricket enthusiast, every winter taking refuge from the cold Czech weather in his home country of South Africa or other parts of southern hemisphere.

Martin Ruman
Managing Consultant
Graduate of the Charles University psychology department, joined Odyssey in 2003 as an external facilitator and psychologist with a senior consultant experience from the HR consulting field. Over the course of time became a member of the core staff, head of Training & Development Division, and eventually Managing Consultant. Martin is involved in design and delivery of training and development programs focused on specific soft-skills training, interactive diagnostic workshops and experiential teamwork courses. Besides general management, business development and international alliances, he is also responsible for the content of our EU-funded educational projects. For the most part of his expert role, he is active as a consultant and coach within complex HR and management consulting projects. He has gathered work experience during his stays in the USA, studied intercultural communication in Finland, underwent systematic training in Gestalt psychotherapy and collected a variety of other L&D qualifications, basing them upon hands-on experience with clinical psychodiagnostics and group psychotherapy.
By now more of an ex-sportsman, Martin takes refuge from the workoholism trap either in company of books of all sorts, sizes and topics, or jamming on keyboards and guitars in rather alternative music projects. Although he has been back from his longer travels for some time now, he remains a globetrotter in his heart.

Bohdan Fuka
Senior Consultant
Member of the core staff since 2003, Teambuilding division manager in 2005–2009. Bohdan is the man behind our high ropes courses and the bigger part of our outdoor program concepts. Besides his involvement with teambuilding programs, he is active as a facilitator within our team workshops and soft skills trainings. Bohdan studied at the Charles University (teaching English and physical education), he is currently going through managerial training at VŠEM. In years 1997–2000 his life path led him to Switzerland and the USA. He represented Odyssey in the process of co-founding the Czech and Slovak Association for Experiential Learning, of which he was elected chairman in 2008 .
In the past a passionate runner, in 2000 the second best Czech finisher at the New York marathon, Bohdan then switched to lacrosse. As a founder of LC Slavia Praha, he is nowadays a defender to look out for on the pitch.

Ludmila Janočková
Project Specialist
Ludmila is a Czech Agriculture University graduate. Already during her studies, she was gaining valuable experience in the HR area working for a recruitment agency. She then moved on to the field of adult language education and also spent some time in the U.K. working in youth education. As the next step of career path, Lída joined Odyssey's internal team in early 2010, taking on a Project Specialist role. Her main responsibilities revolve around just everything behind successful deliveries within our training & development projects. The main features of Lída's approach to her job are unmistakable – contagious enthusiasm, unfailing willingness to help and support the team, and above all a maximal focus on top-quality customer care.
In her spare time, Lída dances, studies English or reads (preferably in English). She also enjoys biking, skiing, ice-skating, knitting and baking (yes, ask the team!). She loves kids and „brynzové halušky“ (Slovakian national meal).

Michal Kabelka
Teambuilding Specialist
Prague patriot, studies Sport Management at the Prague's Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. In the past involved with banking working for OVB Allfinanz, where he passed insurance clerk exams. Being a fanatical snowboarder the bigger part of his winters is always spend in the mountains, teaching snowboarding or skiing. Thus his enthusiasm for work as a it comes as no surprise that he was eager and keen on taking charge over our „snow“ programs. His creativity, open-mindedness and utter reliability are only some of the qualities he's bringing.
Michal's dream is to spend a winter in the northern Rockies or Alaska, seeking for his free ride of a lifetime. In the summer the soccer pitches of (not only) „Hanspaulka“ see Michal getting his off the slope workout.

Lenka Papáčová
Coach, Facilitator, Trainer
Graduate of Charles University, Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, she got her masters degree in psychology with focus on clinical psychology. She has an 8 year history in design and delivery of development and teambuilding courses to her name. Besides her activities as trainer and facilitator, her main focus lies in utilizing of Assessment & Delivery Center diagnostic. She has credentials as in psycho-therapeutic work in clinical treatment of addictions and prevention of socio-pathological phenomena. At present she is in training in group psychotherapy.

Graduate of Charles University, Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, she got her masters degree in anthropology. In the course of her studies she has been traveling on and off to France. She has started her career as a project manager in adult education, while teaching French. At present her focus has shifted towards lecturing and facilitation in areas of communication skills and experiential courses. Her long lasting passion lies in bringing experiential learning into the world of youth education.
Jan Froněk
Trainer, Facilitator
He is currently in his fifth year of Adult education and HR management at the Charles University. Some of his broad experience he gained over a year studying in Germany. Besides his involvement with corporate clients, every fall he takes the time to run adaptation courses for 1st year students at the Charles University. His main focus professionally as well as academically is „the element of game in adult education“.
Adorer of good tea, garlic eater, mountain-walker and a craftsman, who loves nightingale songs, wine, trees and poetry. He is well known for his endless energy and ever present good spirits.
